EMSI provides both environmental consulting services as well as program/construction management and owner representative support to a long list of clients.

Sites where EMSI has provided environmental consulting services include CERCLA sites, industrial/commercial facilities regulated under RCRA or State cleanup programs, Brownfields cleanup/redevelopment sites, refineries, and various railroad properties.  

 

Contaminants of concern have included volatile and semivolatile organic compounds, radionuclides, pesticides and PCBs, herbicides, metals, and other inorganic compounds.  

Work scopes have ranged from design and implementation of site investigations and environmental monitoring programs, to engineering feasibility studies and cost/benefit analyses, to detailed design and construction of remedial measures, to long-term operations and maintenance.

 

We routinely assist our clients with regulatory negotiations, public relations, budgeting and cost apportionment, and in many instances, expert testimony.

Sites where EMSI has provided program/construction management and owner representative support includes municipal clients with light civil infrastructure work including sidewalks, traffic lights, sound walls, sanitary and storm sewer, and park rehabilitation and commercial sites across the United States.
